Founded by Emma Ion, an interior designer and architect with years of experience on large projects in Dubai for top developers such as Ellington and BSBGroup, the studio was established to create more personal and impactful spaces.
After years of working on grand developments, Emma felt drawn to smaller projects — the kind where change is swift, and clients can see and feel their vision come to life.
The name Ion is both personal and universal. As Emma’s last name, it represents identity and authenticity. As a studio name, its simplicity and global appeal reflect our worldwide outlook and timeless design approach.

Born in Sweden and raised in the Netherlands, Emma holds dual degrees in Interior Design and Architecture. She blends a European perspective with local expertise, as Dubai is both her home and the launchpad for The Ion Studio.
